This conviction is rooted not only in personal experience but in years of observation and research.
Before turning to writing, Dean was a working musician in his early twenties. Later, he earned a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business Marketing—funding his education through grit and perseverance—and went on to serve as a federal computer scientist.
His diverse background gave him a unique vantage point. Across countless projects, he began to see recurring patterns: how ideas are born, how they grow, and why they succeed—or fail. Over time, he became convinced that universal principles govern not just work, but life itself. Applying these principles, he discovered, is the key to thriving in both.
More importantly, Dean realized that his greatest contribution wouldn’t come through code, but through words. Writing became his way of distilling insight, sharing perspective, and serving others with clarity and purpose.
